Job description

  • Permanent position - start asap
  • Monday - Friday - 8:30am - 5:00pm
  • Monthly RDO
  • Attractive salary $76,372 + super, plus salary packaging
  • Location - Geebung (free parking)

Our client provides an advocacy service to those who are vulnerable in the community. They are a not-for-profit, independent and have over 30 years' experience in supporting and improving the well-being of our seniors and those with a disability in the community.

The Role

  • Act as the first point of contact, creating a welcoming and professional experience for all clients
  • Manage a high volume of inbound calls and direct enquiries with care and efficiency
  • Greet clients with empathy and respect, ensuring they feel supported and understood
  • Provide clear, accurate information to help clients navigate available services
  • Conduct follow-up outbound calls to ensure client needs are met and supported
  • Adhoc administrative support
  • Ensure all interactions align with organisational policies, legislation, and quality standards
  • Liaise with internal stakeholders to deliver a seamless and client-centred service

What you will bring to the role

  • Previous receptionist, front desk, or contact centre experience required or similar
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to explain information in a clear, supportive manner
  • Professional, approachable, and client-focused demeanour
  • Demonstrated empathy and ability to engage with clients who are vulnerable in the community
  • Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage competing priorities
  • Confident using systems and managing information
  • Collaborative team player with a proactive approach
  • Exposure to Not for Profit or Human Service related roles or similar (highly desirable)
