Working as a Customer Service Consultant in the Contact Centre for this Vocational Education leader gives you the rare opportunity to assist people in making important decisions regarding their study options, which will ultimately impact their future. 

 

What will you do?
  • Inbound calls and email response about courses, enrolments processes and payments.
  • Proactively promote the organisation’s range of products and services to increase conversions.
  • Coordinate customer service requests and transactions in a contact centre environment, providing general information and professional advice ensuring customer needs are continuously met.
  • Identify new business opportunities through inbound and outbound channels for the organisation.
  • Achieve individual key performance indicators including adherence, data quality, convert opportunity and average handle time.
 

Position Details: 

  • South Brisbane
  • Commence 6 September for an initial period of 1.5 weeks full-time training.
  • Ordinary hours $32.83/hr + Super. Penalty rates apply for relevant times on evening shifts, Saturdays and Sundays.
  • Shifts available include: Monday to Thursday 3.00pm - 8.00pm, Friday 10.00am - 6.00pm, Saturday 9.00am - 3.00pm & Sunday 10.00am - 2.00pm
  • You must be able to commit to a minimum of three shifts per week + on call for a fourth
  • You must be able to commit to do at least one weekend shift per fortnight.
  • Ideally you are available for extended hours (38hrs/wk) during peak times for the business which generally coincides with study holiday periods.
 

What will you bring to the role?
  • You will have a real passion for customer service and a genuine interest in helping people - this is not just a job but an opportunity to change lives.
  • You will have strong previous contact centre customer service experience.
  • Inbound sales experience is desirable
  • You will enjoy working through problems and providing solutions.
  • You will be a strong team player, with the ability to work autonomously while providing individual phone service to members.
  • You will be able to pick up and use multiple systems on each call.
