Leasing Manager

• 6 Month Assignment (potential to extend)
• $55.95 p/h + Super 

 Our client a State Government Department is seeking a qualified Leasing Manager for a 6 Month period. The primary purpose of the role will see you responsible for providing whole-of-Government lease procurement and lease management including financial and tenancy management.

 The Role Involves but is not limited to:

• Assisting with the delivery of leasing project and the provision of office accommodation 
• Undertake lease negotiation and management of a portfolio of buildings 
• Negotiate and represent the department at meeting with internal and external stakeholders 
• Actively engaging with stakeholders and customers
• Collect and analyse data and industry trends
• Assist with the preparation of briefing notes and information papers for the Government Office Accommodation Committee and for the Departmental Executive
• Preparation of financial reporting information, forecasting and budgeting 

 

The Successful Candidate will have:

• Strong skills in lease procurement and lease management including financial and tenancy management 
• Will work flexibly without supervision, effectively managing new and unexpected events and demonstrating judgement about when to escalate issues 
• Excellent communication, negotiation and interpersonal skills
• Strong written skills
• Ability to interpret and apply relevant legislation & acts
• Ability to learn very quickly in a dynamic environment
