Childcare Software Provider - $37.13/hr + Super
Chermside Location - onsite parking available
Monday to Friday - rotating roster between 8am and 6pm
Temp-to-perm opportunity - ASAP start
Our client is a leading provider of software to the childcare sector, delivering innovative solutions that support childcare centres across Australia. They are seeking a Customer Support Specialist with strong IT skills, excellent communication abilities, and a passion for helping customers get the most out of their systems.
The Role:
In this role, you will provide software helpdesk support, customer training, and administrative assistance as part of a friendly and collaborative contact centre team. You will be the first point of contact for customer queries, troubleshooting technical issues, and delivering product demonstrations and training sessions. Your strong IT literacy will be essential for navigating multiple systems, learning new features quickly, and guiding customers with confidence.
Key Duties:
- Respond to inbound calls, emails, and online enquiries regarding software and product features
- Troubleshoot and resolve first-level support issues
- Conduct outbound calls to follow up on customer requests, collect data, or promote new system features
- Deliver online product demonstrations and training sessions to new and existing customers
- Activate new features and modules for clients
- Complete data entry, update customer records, and submit information to government systems
- Generate reports, conduct internal data quality checks, and process customer forms
- Provide clear, professional, and friendly communication at all times
What You Will Bring:
- Strong IT literacy - confident with multiple software systems, learning new platforms, and providing technical guidance
- Excellent customer service and communication skills (both verbal and written)
- Good problem-solving and analytical abilities
- High attention to detail and accuracy in data entry
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
- Adaptability to changing systems and processes
- Previous experience in a helpdesk, contact centre, or software support role will be highly regarded
