Our Queensland Government client offers accessible, efficient and convenient services for Queenslanders where customers are able to conduct a range of transactions or get information through an integrated service counter. Covering a wide range of service this integral role will see you working across a variety of services that have an important impact on the community and the public.

We have an exciting temporary opportunity to support our customers and clients based in our Maroochydore Service Centre. These front line face to face customer service roles will see you responding to enquiries relating to Queensland Government services, within a multi-channel service centre environment to ensure a quality service is delivered.

The core elements of the roles will require you to:

  • Provide quality service delivery to customers in accordance with documented procedures and standards to ensure timely and accurate service delivery on behalf of client agencies.
  • Undertake administrative tasks (including correspondence, transactions, information requests, payment handling and referrals) for customers in line with quality processes and procedures to ensure service standards and benchmarks are achieved.
  • Receive respond and action requests for a wide range of stakeholders.

To be successful in the role you will have a genuine passion for customer service with a wealth of experience in delivering high quality service in a complex environment. You have strong communication and interpersonal skills coupled with the ability to work towards personal goals as well as contributing to a positive team environment.

You have exceptional conflict resolution skills, are flexible and adaptable and enjoy working in an environment where you receive regular feedback and coaching development. Strong PC skills are essential as well as the ability to commit to the temporary assignment.

Our client is currently offering Part Time roles working 15-25 hours per week with the opportunity for more based on business needs.

You will be rostered in advance working shifts Monday to Friday between 8.30am and 5.00pm. You can expect regular hours on Mondays and Fridays plus additional days, again based on business needs. You will also be required to work on call based on customer demand and operational needs. Flexibility with rosters will be important for the roles. 

An hourly rate of $41.31 / hr plus super is on offer.

Offering and immediate start this role will come with strong induction support and at present will work until 24 December. There is a possibility of longer term extension based on performance and business needs.
