Are you looking for a rewarding customer service career within a reputable government-owned corporation? Energy Queensland is offering a rewarding customer service role with genuine training and growth opportunities. The Customer Asset Officer is expected to demonstrate a high level of flexibility and perform end-to-end Customer Engagement functions.

Working as a Customer Asset Officer, you’ll be responsible for the management of defects identified at a customer premises through strong customer engagement activities, including a range of customer contact channels, conflict resolution, persuasive conversations and other administrative tasks.

You’re expected to demonstrate a high level of flexibility and perform end-to-end Customer Engagement functions. Data cleansing activities in various systems will also be required to ensure a high-quality record of customer information and defect details.

You’ll actively identify improvement opportunities and suggest workable solutions to improve the overall efficiency and functionality of Energy Queensland processes. As well as use effective communication, teamwork, and customer service to ensure business requirements are achieved.

  • The ability to develop and maintain professional customer relationships and effectively manage customer conflict to achieve quality outcomes.  
  • You have experience working with sensitive information and hold yourself accountable in maintaining confidential information in a discreet and professional manner.
  • You thrive working in a fast-paced environment and you’re well known for your ability to manage and prioritise multiple requests effectively and consistently.
  • Additionally, you hold a Certificate IV in Customer Contact, Business, Management, or you have demonstrated experience working in a fast-paced environment handling multi-channel communication platforms.
  • You are available for ad hoc overtime and have the ability to participate on a standby roster to support business continuity, including during storm season and large-scale disasters.

*Newly attained skills/knowledge will be met with incremental salary increases that can reach up to $110k*

 

The position is located in Brisbane; core business hours are 7:00am to 6:00pm Monday to Friday. You will work 40 hours per week and must have the flexibility to work additional paid ‘on-call’ shifts. Individual rosters will rotate within these hours. 

The start date is Monday, 1st July 2024, and the positions will be on a 2-year fixed-term contract. The Brisbane site is located at Newstead in the amazing Gasworks precinct, close to several public transport options,.
