Monday to Friday - 9am - 5pm

QLeave is a State Government Statutory Authority that administers portable long service leave schemes for eligible workers in Queensland. The organisation is committed to upholding the Human Rights Act 2019 by fostering a culture that respects and protects human rights in all decision-making.
The Role:
Based in the Eligibility and Register Assurance team, these roles are responsible for maintaining the accuracy of QLeave's register by assessing eligibility, processing applications, and supporting customer enquiries across various channels.
Key Duties:
- Assess employer and worker registration applications and service credits
- Notify scheme participants of application outcomes, including formal communication for unsuccessful applications
- Process unrecorded service cases-including initiating contact, collecting documentation, and progressing or closing cases as required
- Triage and respond to inbound phone enquiries via a rotating roster, resolving queries or referring as needed
- Liaise with scheme participants to request supporting documentation and clarify application details
- Respond to complaints and provide accurate information in line with legislative requirements
- Ensure data accuracy and integrity across systems, updating records as needed
- Provide timely, clear, and consistent advice about QLeave's schemes, obligations, and processes
- Assist colleagues and leadership with additional administrative tasks as directed
What You Will Bring:
- Strong understanding of policy, legislation, and procedural frameworks
- Proven ability to assess applications and make sound, consistent decisions
- Excellent communication skills-written and verbal-across multiple channels
- High attention to detail and ability to handle sensitive information confidentially
- A proactive and adaptable approach, with the ability to support a team environment
- Experience using CRM and document management systems (Dynamics 365 and HPE Content Manager desirable)
- Availability to work a rotating roster including multiple 5:00 pm finishes per week
- A willingness to learn, with potential to take on additional assessment responsibilities
