Are you detail-driven, organised, and ready to play a key role in supporting Queensland's heavy vehicle network? Our client is seeking a proactive Operations Support Officer to join their Heavy Vehicle Operations team.
This is a fantastic opportunity to contribute to vital transport operations that keeps Queensland moving - working alongside industry stakeholders, government agencies and internal teams to deliver impactful outcomes.
The Role
You will support the delivery of Heavy Vehicle Operations programs by contributing to operational processes, project outcomes and business planning activities. You'll play a critical role in ensuring permit applications are processed accurately and efficiently, while providing high-quality advice and support to key stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities
- Process permit applications with accuracy and strong attention to detail
- Maintain quality document management and data integrity
- Provide advice and respond to enquiries
- Input, update and extract data using internal information systems
- Manage and respond to queries, complaints, compliments and appeals
- Liaise with interstate, agencies and industry bodies
- Draft and review departmental correspondence
Required Attributes:
- Strong administrative and operational support experience
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- High attention to detail and ability to manage documentation accurately
- Confidence working with data and information systems
- Ability to manage competing priorities and meet deadlines
- Experience working within transport-related environments (highly regarded)
