Our client is a well known organisation providing essential services to a large and diverse customer base. They are committed to delivering an exceptional customer experience at all levels of the organisation.

Due to an internal secondment we now seeking an additional customer service advocate to join their team for an initial six (6) month contract. This unique full time role will see you managing escalated customer cases and correspondence in a very busy regulated environment. You will be responsible for reviewing the cases and correspondence, taking appropriate action through investigations and research and then responding to the enquiry. You will be required to make phone contact with customers to clarify points and follow up on actions and provide resolutions to issues. You may also be required to provide a response in writing.

What you will bring to the role:

  • Exceptional written communication skills with experience in written customer correspondence 
  • A strong customer focus and excellent complaint resolution skills
  • Case and or claims management experience will be very highly regarded
  • Exceptional problem solving skills and the ability to think outside of the box to achieve the right customer outcome.
  • Be a fast learner who is comfortable with researching complex matters
  • Enjoy working in a high volume, fast paced environment
  • Have strong attention to detail and well developed planning and organisation skills
  • Love working as part of a dedicated team
  • Have exceptional PC skills
  • Take accountability for yourself and your performance and strive to achieve your individual and team goals
  • The ability to work both on - site and from home, as required based, on business needs and health directions.

We are currently seeking applicants dedicated to full time work. You will work 38 hours per week on rotating rosters, Monday to Friday between 8.00am and 5.30pm. All staff must be flexible with working rotating rosters during this span of hours. Initially this will be for a contract on our client's payroll for up to 6 months where you will accrue personal and annual leave.

Training for the role will commence early January 2021.

Please note, due to the comprehensive training and consolidation period required we will not be in a position to accommodate any annual leave during the first 3 months of employment. Staff will not be required to work on public holidays however full availability is expected at all other times.

You must be an Australian Citizen or Permanent resident to apply for these positions. While the role offers opportunity to work from home you must still live within 1 hour travel time of the office which is located on the Brisbane City Fringe.
